Open gym begins on January 4th.....

One gym begins January 4th and runs through February 22nd. The cost is $50 and you can pay online at Salt Lake County Rec, or pay opening night in the small gym. If you have any questions, contact Coach D....Go Mustangs!!!

Mandatory Parent Meeting on October 17th!!!

Parents of players who are interested in playing for Herriman High School need to attend a mandatory meeting on October 17, 2012 at 7:00pm! On the agenda is fundraising for the upcoming year, along with a status update with the program.

The 17U tryouts are postponed, we will piggy back both the 17U and 16U tryouts tomorrow at West Ridge @4:00pm. Thanks for your patience and see you tomorrow.

15U and 14U will piggy back on Wednesday @4:00pm.

14U team.....

8th grade Baseball players: If you are interested in playing baseball for the Herriman 14U summer team, there is a meeting on Monday, May 23rd @ 6:00pm at the schools baseball field. This is a mandatory parent player meeting.

Summer Tryouts!!!!

Tryouts for the summer league team are going to be held on the following dates:

17U (Juniors)- Monday, May 23rd @4:00pm at West Ridge Academy
16U (Sophs)- Tuesday, May 24th @4:00pm at West Ridge Academy
15U (Fresh)- Wednesday, May 25th @4:00pm at West Ridge Academy

14U (8th) - is still in negotiations and word should come out at the end of the week. See you at the field!

Workouts Cancelled today....

Due to the 1.9 inches of water dumped on us the past two days, the field is too muddy to practice on. We are going to try tomorrow at 3pm. Hope to see you there.

End of the Year Banquet!!!

The Herriman High Baseball end of the year banquet has been set for May 26th at 6:00pm. The envent will be held at the District in the conference room, cost will be $20 per parent, and the booster club is covering the fee's of players. If you have any questions, contact the booster's or Coach DeHerrera for details.

Freshman Tryouts!!!

Freshman Tryouts will be held on Monday, March 14th, at Butterfield Park. They start at 3:30pm, so be there around 3:00 pm to get warmed up and ready to go. GO STANG's!!!

All Seniors, Juniors, and Sophs, practice at West Ridge Academy starting at 3:00pm. Freshman are to report at 4:30pm!

Tryout Information

Tryouts for the Herriman High Baseball team are as follows:

Monday and Tuesday-

12th and 11th Graders: 3:00pm

10th Graders: 5:00pm

9th Graders: 7:00pm

Make sure you arrive 15 minutes prior to time slot, and be ready to go at your designated time! Good luck and GO STANG'S!

Prospective Players....

With the season so close to beginning, you need to bring both, your workout and baseball clothes. This way the program is able to use the recent warm weather we are experiancing. Go Stangs!!!!

Parent/Player Pre-Tryout Meeting!

A mandatory Parent/Player pre-tryout meeting has been set in the cafeteria at 6:00pm on February 22, 2011. The purpose of the meeting is a chance to go over the current state of Herriman Baseball, and explain the player expectations during try-out week. Anyone who is interested in trying out for Herriman needs to attend the meeting! The season is right around the corner, GO MUSTANGS!!!!

February Workouts!!!!!!

Spring training for the Herriman High Mustangs has begun. Those students who are interested in playing for Herriman High School should attend all workout sessions on Tuesday and Thursday night. Along with the after school lifting sessions on Monday and Wednesday. If you cannot make a session, make sure you inform one of the coaches, before skipping out!

Changes in Open Gym Time

Times for open gym have changed to accommodate other programs.

Lifting sessions are now Monday and Wednesday 2:30-3:30 pm

Open gym sessions are now Tuesday and Thursday:
9th and 10th graders: 7:00-8:30 pm
11th and 12th graders: 8:15-9:45 pm
